They spent a good hour and a half in the store. And every time they would find something they wanted to get, they would put it up at our counter. The pile literally took up the whole counter! Once she was done, she pulled out a book that was full of coupons. She was going through them, showing me all of the. Most of the coupons were expired, some weren’t even for our store. When her coupons failed, she asked about any sales going on right now. I told her no, since it wasn’t a holiday, we had nothing going on. And then she said “But I’m buying so much stuff, why don’t I get a discount?”. I just told her I’m sorry there was nothing I can do. Then of course she demanded to see my manager.  I went to go get her, and explained the situation to her. My manager ended up giving her a $5 off, just to shut her up. The woman wasn’t thrilled but took it. As we were ringing up her stuff, she talked to us about how many people can’t afford everything they want, and it’s up to us to help them out. I’m sorry but if you can’t afford to go shopping…don’t. That is just common sense.  (via imgTumble)
